Cannes lions Case Study

Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival site and online services are fully developed, managed and hosted by Thoughtbubble. Cannes Lions is the world's premier advertising festival.

Cannes staff maintain large sections of the site through a sophisticated Content Management System (CMS) which allows them to publish news, images and up-to-the-minute timetable updates direct to the site as well as integrating with their intranet and systems at the push of a button. Especially through the festival winners week, held each year mid summer in the south of France.

During the festival Thoughtbubble also publish all winners and shortlists with full details and media.

The Cannes systems developed by Thoughtbubble include a full e-commerce facility to take all entries and a holding area where the IAF team can view all festival entries and delegate details and download directly into their intranet system. The system is fully integrated with Cannes' video hosting facility to enable entrants to upload their advert films directly.

2007 saw the inclusion of a new e-commerce shop for all things Cannes, some great new components to the festival site and Lions+.
